GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Feel free to submit your work at any time of the year if you’re a legal professional, a law student, a member of the bar, or anyone passionate about contributing to our publications and enhancing discussions within the legal field. We welcome submissions all year round.
If you want to send us an article, please email it to us at submissions@thewritreview.com, and use the subject line ‘Submission’.
Writers are required to follow the submission guidelines outlined below:
- Articles must feature original and unpublished content. Plagiarism is strongly discouraged.
- Articles should be submitted in Microsoft Word format. The text should be formatted to Times New Roman font, size 12 with 1.5 line spacing.
- If the article discusses very recent developments that could lose novelty or relevance quickly, an expedited review can be requested by including the word “Urgent Review” in the email subject line.
- Submissions of all lengths are encouraged. However, 800 to 1200 words is a preferred range.
- The preference is for hyperlinks over footnotes. If the article includes sources that can’t be linked, the Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) (4th edition) style should be used in the footnotes.
- The body of the email should contain a short bio of the author(s). Co-authorship is permitted for up to two authors.
